Kevkin Innovations LLP ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") built the Speed Reader mobile application (the "App") as a free, ad-supported and subscription-based service. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices and rights you have regarding your information when you use the App on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

We collect information in three broad categories: information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information generated through the App's AI-assisted comprehension quiz feature.

When you use the App's AI comprehension-quiz feature, the text passage you are reading is sent securely, via our backend, to a third-party AI language-processing provider (Google Gemini) in order to generate multiple-choice comprehension questions based on that passage.
Passage text submitted for quiz generation is not retained by us or our AI processing partner beyond what is necessary to generate and return the quiz, except where limited, temporary retention is required for abuse and fraud prevention. The App does not submit your profile picture, account information, or reading performance data to the AI quiz-generation provider — only the text of the passage being read.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

In compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, the App will request your permission before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) or otherwise tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies. You may:

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@kevkin.com so we can promptly delete such information.
Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect information transferred internationally.

The App uses an artificial intelligence model to automatically generate comprehension quiz questions based on the reading passage you submit. These outputs are provided for informational and educational purposes only. We do not use automated processing to make decisions that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you (e.g., we do not use AI to make eligibility, pricing, or access decisions about you as an individual).
We may send you push notifications (e.g., reading-streak reminders, achievement unlocks, or occasional product updates and offers) and, if you contact us by email, follow-up correspondence. You can disable push notifications at any time via Settings > Speed Reader > Notifications. We do not send marketing emails unless you have separately provided your email address and consented to receive them, and you may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in any such email or by contacting us.

In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information in a manner requiring notification under applicable law, we will notify affected users and/or the relevant regulatory authorities without undue delay and in accordance with applicable legal timelines, and will describe the nature of the breach and steps being taken to address it.
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, links to our support page, App Store, or Play Store listing). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party destinations. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit after leaving the App.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local data protection law (such as GDPR or CCPA) grants you additional rights, which will apply to the extent required. If any provision of this Privacy Policy is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
